This morning I woke up bright and early to head over the gym. I think I’m becoming a fan of morning workouts, as it’s amazing how quickly you wake up and feel great throughout the day!
I wanted to keep with the short runs until marathon training starts up again, so I did 2 miles on the treadmill. I started out slow on the treadmill (I need to work on this..I’ve realized on a treadmill I run 30 seconds to 1 min slower pace), and then started to get into some speed. I thought I saw a 6 pace again on my Sportswatch, but after reviewing my run I realized I didn’t.
New goal: beat my old mile record from a 5K this summer:
After running, I was able to get a majority of my homework done for this weekend..woohoo! Miguel was nice enough to help me out with some of it.
Tonight I’m excited to go see the movie Identity Theft! Normally I’m not a huge opening weekend movie person, but this movie looks hilarious!
